BSOP Winter has roared into life at the Golden Hall of the WTC Sheraton in São Paulo, and the headline belongs to Pedro Ferrer. He won the prestigious R$25,000 BSOP Invitational, outlasting a 171-entry field to bank a cool R$1,000,000.
A stacked Invitational
Ferrer had to get past a loaded final stretch. Matheus Machado took R$630,000 for second, while online star Alisson Piekazewicz — fresh from his GGMillion$ triumph — added a third-place finish worth R$410,000 to a red-hot month.
Wellington’s double
If Ferrer grabbed the biggest headline, Daniel Wellington was the busiest man in the room. He turned the opening days into a personal showcase, winning both the R$6,000 One-Day Deepstack and the R$6,000 1-Day PKO (42 entries) to become a two-time champion of the series, with his PKO haul reaching R$72,000 including bounties.
